- "Admiral Ar'alani will return the children to their families, and has promised to bolster the defenses of the colony world from which they were taken."
- ―Grand Admiral Thrawn, to Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader
A colony world was part of the Chiss species' Chiss Ascendancy nation. The planet was inhabited by several Chiss families.[1] In 2 BBY,[2] the Grysk warlike species' interstellar state known as the[1] Grysk Hegemony[3] kidnapped several young Chiss Force-sensitive girls who lived on the colony world, which they used as their navigators. Shortly after a battle[1] between the same years[2] against a group of Grysk war vessels, during which Galactic Empire Grand Admiral Thrawn's forces rescued the girls Admiral Ar'alani promised Thrawn that she would strengthen the colony world's security.[1]
Behind the scenes
The colony world was mentioned in the first storyline of the 2017 novel Thrawn: Alliances, the second installment in Timothy Zahn's Star Wars: Thrawn novel series.[1]
