Star Wars: The Imperial Trilogy,[3] also referred to simply as Star Wars: Thrawn, is a canon adult-fiction novel series written by Timothy Zahn and published by Del Rey. It focuses on the character Thrawn as he rises to power in the Galactic Empire. The series comprises three volumes, Thrawn (2017), Thrawn: Alliances (2018), and Thrawn: Treason (2019). It was followed by a prequel series, Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy.
