- "A report from Trammis III spotted Hondo Ohnaka at the Chreotan Souk, selling contraband puffer pig bladders and Sansanna preservatives"
- ―Exantor Divo, Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious
Trammis III was a location in the galaxy. In 7971.325.3 C.R.C., the Weequay pirate Hondo Ohnaka sold contraband puffer pig bladders and Sansanna preservatives in the Chreotan Souk on Trammis III. He was spotted in the area, and a report was made to the Imperial Office of Criminal Investigations, which placed an official Notice of Imperial Remandation on Ohnaka with Regional Classification through the Outer Rim Territories. A comment from with a signature originating on Trammis III was then made on the notice's posting on the office's datacore offering to help capture the "dashing and handsome pirate king."[2]
The case was one that Imperial Security Bureau agent Andressa Divo was involved in, and years later during the New Republic Era, New Republic police commissioner Exantor Divo—Andressa's son—included elements from her notes on it in his book, Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious. This included a security image of Ohnaka stood next to an Ualaq Aqualish in an urban area on Trammis III and noted that experts believed the datacore comment to have been made by Ohnaka himself.[2] By 34 ABY,[3] the criminal slicer DJ owned a ring containing amber from Trammis III.[4]

- ―Pablo Hidalgo on using Trammis III in The Visual Dictionary
In the current Star Wars canon, Trammis III was first mentioned in the 2017 reference book, Star Wars: The Last Jedi: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[4] Hidalgo's 2018 reference book Star Wars: Scum and Villainy: Case Files on the Galaxy's Most Notorious then included the first canon depiction of the world, illustrated by Fares Maese.[2] The world originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity as a location where dinosaurs could be found in the 1983 novel Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu by L. Neil Smith.[6] Hidalgo has stated that his inclusion of an amber ring from Trammis III was made as a reference to the Jurassic Park franchise of dinosaur films.[5]
