The Torranix sector was a sector of the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior.[2] It contained the Cal-Seti, Fresia, Galand, and Worru'du systems all in grid square K-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] In the Fresia system, the planet Fresia was homeworld of the human Rebel pilot Jaldine Gerams[3] and the Coromon Headhunter, a fierce type of creature.[4] The world was represented by Senator Seti Ashgad during the Clone Wars but during an increase in death threats and assassination attempts on all senators he vanished.[5] At some point between 19 BBY and 5 BBY,[6] the partisans of resistance fighter Saw Gerrera carried out a violent raid on an Incom Corporation warehouse on Fresia and stole eight X-wing starfighters.[7]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Torranix sector was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[8] The sector originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the 1995 LucasArts video game Star Wars: Dark Forces.[9] It was first identified in the 1996 novel Before the Storm, which was written by Michael P. Kube-McDowell.[10]
