The Fresia system was a star system in the Torranix sector of the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior.[2] It fell within grid square K-10 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] and contained the planet Fresia, homeworld of the human Rebel pilot Jaldine Gerams[3] and the fierce creature known as the Coromon Headhunter.[4] During the Clone Wars, Fresia was represented in the Galactic Senate of the Galactic Republic by Senator Seti Ashgad until Ashgad vanished amidst an increase in death threats and assassination attempts on all senators.[5] At some point between 19 BBY and 5 BBY,[6] the partisans of resistance fighter Saw Gerrera carried out a violent raid on an Incom Corporation warehouse on Fresia and stole eight X-wing starfighters.[7]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Fresia system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both were written by Jason Fry.[8] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Fresia was located in the Fre'ji system, which was first mentioned in the 2003 Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement Coruscant and the Core Worlds, which was published by Wizards of the Coast.[9] It first appeared in the 2006 LucasArts video game Star Wars: Empire at War.[10]
