Tonnis sector

The Tonnis sector was a sector located in the galaxy. Remote and devoid of settlements, it was considered little more than empty space.[2] In 1 BBY,[3] Freighter 2716, secretly transporting a giant kyber crystal intended for use in the Death Star, rendezvoused with Captain Slavin's Star Destroyer there. Both ships were destroyed when the crystal, which had been rigged into a bomb by notorious extremist Saw Gerrera, exploded.[2]
