- "Follow the Channel 20 parsecs back from Kessel and you can pick your refinery or spice purification plant: operators on Mandrine, Zerm, Injopan, and Tilurus flood space with messages offering low rates for their services."
- ―Midnight's book
Tilurus was a terrestrial celestial body[4] situated in the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Slice.[2] It lay on the Pabol Sleheyron hyperspace route between the astronomical objects Aeneid and Mandrine.[4]
Tilurus was one of the locations along the Pabol Sleheyron housing coaxium refineries or spice purification plants. The operators of those facilities flooded surrounding space with messages advertising their low-cost services to pilots transporting cargoes from the nearby world Kessel who exited the turbulent Akkadese Maelstrom region onto the segment of the Pabol Sleheyron along which Tilurus lay.[4] At some point between 10 BBY and approximately 1 ABY,[5] the barkeep known as Midnight mentioned Tilurus in a book they were writing, also including in that work a map of the Akkadese Maelstrom and its surroundings with the celestial body noted on it.[4]
Behind the scenes
Tilurus was mentioned in the 2018 book Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor, authored by Jason Fry.[4]

- ↑ Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor is presented as an in-universe book written by Midnight that mentions Lando Calrissian losing the Millennium Falcon to Han Solo in a game of sabacc and that is also set prior to the former becoming the Baron Administrator of Cloud City. Star Wars: Timelines dates the sabacc game between Calrissian and Solo to 10 BBY. Additionally, Calrissian becomes Baron Administrator at some point after the flashback events of Halcyon Legacy 4 and years prior to the events of The Empire Strikes Back: So You Want to Be a Jedi?, which Timelines dates to approximately 1 ABY and 3 ABY, respectively. Therefore, Midnight's book must have been authored at some point between 10 BBY and approximately 1 ABY.
