The Thession system was located in the Bortele sector[1] within the Slice[2] portion of the Mid Rim Territories. Situated in grid square S-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid,[1] it contained the terrestrial astronomical object Thession, where the rebel trooper Maediyu joined the Rebel Alliance's 61st Mobile Infantry[3] no later than 3 ABY.[4]
Behind the scenes
The Thession system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published on StarWars.com alongside the Star Wars Galaxy Map[1]—both works having been authored by Jason Fry and released on June 24, 2025.[5]
