Although this article is based on canonical information, the actual name of this subject is pure conjecture.

A fourth season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian was written by Jon Favreau, confirming with CinemaBlend at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim that Star Wars: Ahsoka informed his writing for the season.[1] By February 2023, the season was already written.[2] After StarWars.com announced the film The Mandalorian and Grogu on January 9, 2024,[3] Deadline reported that season four of The Mandalorian was still in development.[4]

However, Din Djarin body double Brendan Wayne, when asked if a season four was coming, stated on March 6, 2024, that he was unsure. All Wayne was certain of was that the movie was in the pipeline, although he believed it was for the best for Disney+ to continue with season four.[5]

In an interview to Empire released in November 2025, Favreau said that he still has season four waiting on his desk, and that the movie is structured differently.[6]
