"How much for a run to Tassar?"
―Cassian Andor, to Xanwan[3]

Tassar was a location[3] in the D'Astan sector's Tassar system, which was situated in the Outer Rim Territories[1] amd the New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square P-5 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

When the human Cassian Andor was hoping to leave[3] the planet[4] Ferrix[3] in 5 BBY,[5] he inquired about passage to Tassar at Xanwan's freight kiosk, a transport business in Ferrix City. The proprietor Xanwan asked Andor several questions about his trip, and when he requested both immediacy and discretion, Xanwan said it would cost him 900. Andor scoffed at the number, and the two eventually settled on 700, with Xanwan stating Andor had better be ready to go in one hour.[3] Andor ultimately left Ferrix with the rebel Luthen Rael instead.[6]

Behind the scenes

Tassar was mentioned in "That Would Be Me,"[3] the second episode of the first season of the live-action Disney+ series Andor, which was released on September 21, 2022.[7] In the accompanying episode guide released on StarWars.com, Tassar was incorrectly spelled as "Tasser."[8]
