The Tarnith system was a star system in the Ojoster sector that was part of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and New Territories.[2] It was situated in grid square N-7 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Tarnith system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[1] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[3] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the Tarnith system was first mentioned in The Essential Atlas, a 2009 reference book by Fry and Daniel Wallace.[4]
