The Tarlandia system was a star system located in the Core Worlds[1] and the Interior.[2] It was situated in grid square L-9 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The system shared its name with the Pride of Tarlandia, a battlecruiser in the Imperial Navy.[3]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Tarlandia system was mentioned in "Star Systems of the Galaxy,"[1] an appendix to the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com.[4] Both authored by Jason Fry, the article and appendix were released on June 24, 2025[5] as a continuation of the Online Companion for the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas,[4] which was written by Fry and Daniel Wallace. The Online Companion introduced the Tarlandia system in the Star Wars Legends continuity.[6]
