Tamazall was a location where the convicted criminals Biran Redben and M'dwello Di served 50 and 30 year sentences respectively. The sentences were listed on the two criminals' profiles, which were among a number of profiles seen by Marshal Carasynthia Dune when she searched for that of the criminal Migs Mayfeld[2] around 9 ABY.[3] It was located in the Tamazall system in the Boeus sector of the Expansion Region.[1]

Tamazall was mentioned on a screen in "Chapter 14: The Tragedy" of Jon Favreau's Disney+ series Star Wars: The Mandalorian, directed by Robert Rodriguez[2] and released on December 4, 2020.[4] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet Tamazall was mentioned in the 1994 Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game supplement Galaxy Guide 11: Criminal Organizations, written by Rick D. Stuart.[5]
