- "I tracked him to Jedha. The brass said I had no sanction—took my badge."
- ―Tam Posla, on his hunt for "Roofoo" and "Sawkee"
A high ranking member of[2] the Milvayne Authority was the superior officer of[1] the celebrated lawman[3] Tam Posla.[1] By 1 BBY,[4] the officer took Posla off an investigation into a string of crimes carried out by the criminals known as "Roofoo" and "Sawkee."[1] Despite the removal, Posla tracked the two to[2] the moon[1] Jedha, which was not in his jurisdiction. Subsequently,[5] Posla's superior officer had no choice but to[6] have the lawman discharged[5] in his absence,[7] citing Posla's lack of sanction to continue his efforts.[2]
Behind the scenes
Tam Posla's superior officer was first mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1]
