- This is silly. The event does not need its own page, it should be described in the articles of all those immediately affected. (And why on Kessel is this under List of battles? If anything, it was murder) --Imp 14:02, 15 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- Sparq: Yes, there is an article for the Destruction of Alderaan. It was a significant event, as much as events like the Ghorman Massacre. Why would it be a silly idea to have an article about it? But this probably isn't the right place to discuss that article. – Aidje talk 14:37, 15 Jul 2005 (UTC)
- For what it's worth, Wikipedia has articles on The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral, The Natchez Sandbar fight, and several other murders, massacres, and duels which are arguably less significant to world history than Vader killing the Separatists or the Vader/Obi-Wan duel are to Star Wars history. We could put this up on VfD, but if we delete it, some anon will likely create it anew (only with worse spelling.) — Silly Dan 22:47, 12 Aug 2005 (UTC)

- Wattamb2000, I've removed the really banal last words like "No!" and "Stop!", and the deaths of nameless battledroids. I don't think that level of detail is really needed. Gunray's last words are somewhat relevant, though. (I should also point out that I don't recall the exact order they were killed, which you think is important.) — Silly Dan 21:24, 15 Aug 2005 (UTC)

- Is the Star Wars episode 3 comic graphic- novel thing Canon? I saw Po Nudo being forced against a table. In the movie he is slashed on his stumach--wattamb2000
- Yes it's canon. But for pity's sake, *how* Po Nudo dies exactly is barely relevant. It's enough to say that he was killed by Darth Vader. We don't want a blow-by-blow account. It is irrelevant. QuentinGeorge 12:21, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- See canon for discussion — generally, the latest release of the movie comes first, then deleted but filmed scenes, then the screenplay, then novels, comic books, and other adaptations. But, as I said, I'm not sure that the exact details of how Po Nudo was killed are relevant. Recall that on this talk page, some people have argued the entire article is unnecessary. — Silly Dan 12:23, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- (Please tell me if I'm posting this in the correct place, there's so many different indentations on this page that I'm confused) I think that an event should be given a Wiki entry if it actually has a proper name in the SW universe. The Ghorman Massacre, and in real life, The Gunfight at the O.K. Corral are actually named that. Is the "Destruction of Alderaan" a real, capitalized name? If not, then I think its entry should be removed, with its contents covered in other articles, such as the ones about the Death Star or Tarkin. The same goes for this "Mission to Mustafar" article. JimRaynor55 12:37, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- In both cases, I believe the titles are arbitrary, but the events are worth writing about as events. (I'm not sure what else the Destruction of Alderaan would be called if you wanted to treat it as a proper name, anyway.) — Silly Dan 12:58, 20 Aug 2005 (UTC)

- Denaria Kee gets stabbed through the heart.
- Passel Argente gets slashed from the waist up.
- Lott Dodd gets slashed.
- Poggle the Lesser is sliced in half.
- Nute Gunray is obviously sliced across the chest.
- Pu Nudo gets cut down right before Poggle's death.
- Wat Tambor gets cut down in the conference room.
- It appears that the other leader getting cut down in the Pu Nudo and Poggle the Lesser death clip is Tikkes.

Hello all. I have an issue wth a picture on the article (caption is "Darth Vader strides down the corridor of the bunker."). The picture is of a cut scene from an Episode III trailer. My issue is this. The picture does not show Anakin (or Vader) walking down a corridor from Mustafar. It is a corridor from the Invisible Hand. 3 Neimoidian Aides
So in the infobox, it says that three Neimoidian aides were there... I have two things based on this topic. 1: Why is it linked as one page. The Neimoidian aides are seperate people and so they should have three seperate pages all titled something like: Unidentified Neimoidian aide (Mustafar). I don't think having a page about three unidentified characters is right. 2: We know that Aito Laff was there and he is the only named aide out of the four and he was a pilot or something on the Invisible Hand. Were these three also on the Invisible Hand because they are dressed like most Neimoidian pilots or are they just aides. --CSW2008 (talk) 18:34, April 27, 2020 (UTC)

Official name?
Apologies if this matter has already been covered and closed with the example brought up, but I figured I'd ask for myself just be sure. In the original Revenge of the Sith video game, this event is named "Assassination on Mustafar" in the story mission levels. I'm presuming there is a reason "Mission to Mustafar" was the preferred name among the Wookieepedia community, but again, I was wondering if someone can clear this up, as far as if this is a change that needs be made or not. And before anyone asks, yes, I added this message to talk pages for both "Canon" and "Legends" articles, just so I can say I tried to make this matter known. -- CJSFanOn Stranger Tides 16:58, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
