Canon/Legends

Should this be canon because most of the appearances and mentions are first time and there are more canon than legends? - Red Duel 21:28, March 31, 2019 (UTC)

  • This is treated as Legends, since its mostly based on Legends. Per policy technically anything new introduced in FFG is Legends, newer FFG books are mostly based on canon, hence the reason of why they're treated more canon than 2016 FFG books--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 21:34, March 31, 2019 (UTC)
    • If that’s the case then there should be a legends page for the C-ROC Gozanti-class cruiser, VCX-series auxiliary starfighter, the Phantom, and Sabine Wren. - Red Duel 22:43, March 31, 2019 (UTC)
      • In the case of Sabine (and unless I'm mistaken the Phantom) it's just an image, not an actual appearance...I believe this has been discussed before, and I think the consensus was that if a Canon subject appears in an otherwise Legends FFG source in a visual format but isn't identified by name, it won't be given a Legends page. Please correct me if I'm wrong. - sombraptor (talk) 23:51, March 31, 2019 (UTC)
    • If a canon only subject appears in a FFG book it doesn't count as a Legends appearance, same goes for Legends only subjects in canon FFG books they don't count as Canon appearance. --DarthRuiz30 (talk) 23:53, March 31, 2019 (UTC)
      • Question why is it still considered legends when it came out at the very end of 2016? - Red Duel 12:23, April 20, 2019 (UTC)
        • Because it features Legends-only material. I believe it wasn't until 2018 that FFG began releasing purely Canon RPG stuff, with Dawn of Rebellion (with the exception of the TFA Beginner Game.) - sombraptor (talk) 14:11, April 20, 2019 (UTC)
          • It feature’s canon only material also and 2017 was when they went completely canon but they were putting canon stuff as early as 2015 in it. - Red Duel 14:25, April 20, 2019 (UTC)
            • Isn't that a bit like arbitrarily categorizing, say, Tarkin as Legends because it canonizes a bunch of Legends things? I don't really think the "features Legends-only material" argument is a valid one. - AV-6R7Crew Pit 15:11, April 20, 2019 (UTC)
      • I keep seeing the article (and related articles) being edited to be both Canon AND Legends. Has there been a consensus to treat FLT (and other FFG material) like that, like we do for the first six films and TCW, or is it just some guys placing stuff arbitrarily? Because I thought FFG stuff pre-2018 was just considered Legends, while after that was Canon... Sombraptor (talk) 14:47, September 7, 2020 (UTC)

Teemo reference

I don't have the Sourcebook I might look to getting it but however. I'd like to know what page the character is referenced and what details are there about it. Like does it mention species Teemo is usually a Hutt and does it describe the character using he or she? I ask due to the Hutts in canon are two genders male and female. Confused

This Talk page says that the book is Legends, but the article's main page clearly has a canon banner. I wanted to add a link for the character Bellows under Appearance/Characters/Canon because his name is there without a link, and then I wanted to unlink his name under Legends because he is a new character introduced in 2016. However, this policy and the discussion at the top of this Talk page have me confused. Red Heathen (talk) 02:17, 26 April 2023 (UTC)

  • Per our policy on the canonicity of FFG products, Friends Like These is considered "BOTH" which means "shall apply to both the Canon and Legends continuities, in the same way that Wookieepedia treats the Star Wars original trilogy and prequel trilogy films and Star Wars: The Clone Wars. However, Canon-exclusive subjects from these books shall remain exclusive to the Canon continuity." Therefore, there should be both a canon and a Legends page for Bellows (clone trooper). Timeline

How specific are the book's events? The Rebellion Era spans roughly 2 BBY-4 ABY. Primarch Anubis (talk) 01:30, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
