Pluralization

Unless I'm mistaken, shouldn't this be at "First Order Stormtrooper" and not "First Order Stormtroopers"? For the same reason "Credits"" was moved a while back and also why the "Stormtrooper" article is at that and not "Stormtroopers"? ProfessorTofty (talk) 02:35, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

Infobox picture

Small nitpick, but I believe the picture in the infobox needs to be changed to an FO Stormtrooper without the orange pauldron. Most likely scenario is that the pauldron indicates a higher rank than the average joe. Reddyredcp (talk) 03:54, October 20, 2015 (UTC)

  • yeah agreed, it means Officer--asddddd6 (talk) 00:47, November 20, 2015 (UTC)
    • Galactic Empire Stormtroopers with pauldrons were also still stormtroopers, and would be incorporated into the stormtrooper article, so I'm not sure why we would need to treat this differently. Unless I'm missing something? - Brandon Rhea(talk) 01:01, November 20, 2015 (UTC)
      • It is just the fact that there are many perfectly fine pictures of the regular trooper but the article has the one that is an officer --asddddd6 (talk) 04:26, November 20, 2015 (UTC)

--Foxhound78 (talk) 03:59, January 6, 2016 (UTC)==2.3 Expansion/rewrite== I do believe more discussion about what the colours of pauldon's represent is required. In order to point out ranks and functions within the Stormtrooper corps and to get a better understanding how these ranks operated out in the field. My suggestions would be as follows Orange/Red- Junior to Mid level Officers (Platoon Commander/Company Commander) Black- Senior Sergeants or Sergeant Majors (Platoon Sergeant/Company Sergeant major) White- Sergeant (Squad Leaders) Grey- Corporal (Assistant squad Leaders)

Merge with First Order Stormtrooper Corps page?

The information that's on both is relatively the same, but pretty much every reference to First Order Stormtroopers comes back to here. Unsigned comment by Kcin117 (talk • contribs)

New appearance!

Hey, they have just appeared in Ralph Breaks the Internet. They're acting as security guards. When Vanellope von Schweetz bumps into one of them, they chase her for using an unauthorized pop-up without a permit. When Vanellope runs backstage, the Stormtroopers ask Grumpy if he has seen her to which he confirms. After Vanellope glitches into the princesses' dressing room, the Stormtroopers decide to look for her in the Air Bud pavilion.

Quotes:

  • "Hey, do you have a permit for that pop-up? That's an authorized click-bate. You're coming with us, kid!"
  • "She's getting away!" - Stormtrooper
  • "This way!" - Stormtrooper
  • "I think she went down this way, come on." - Stormtrooper
  • "Roger that." - Stormtrooper
  • "Did you see a kid come thru here?" - Stormtrooper to Grumpy
  • "Any sign of her?" - Stormtrooper
  • "No. Maybe she went down to the Air Bud pavilion." - Stormtrooper
  • "C'mon, let's check it out." - Stormtrooper

Move to First Order Stormtrooper

Shouldn't this page be moved to First Order Stormtrooper, given that it is referenced that way many times, the name is formal and parentheses are generally discouraged? OneNose (talk) 02:59, 19 March 2021 (UTC)

Name

Stormtrooper is clearly inspired by Nazi Sturmtruppen. Note, Storm equals to German Sturm, trooper sounds exactly as Truppe, and both are written together just as Sturmtruppe. Apple+Nazi = this. Also, they serve basically a greedy corporate. Unsigned comment by 89.1.186.199 (talk • contribs)
