- "I am the best hauler droid in town and you know that!"
- ―TRK-R, to Verla
TRK-R was a loader droid who worked in a settlement on the planet Serelia during the time of the Galactic Empire, transporting cargo using a landspeeder. The droid was present at a dock on Serelia to collect a cargo of fish from the resident Verla when Jedi trainee Luke Skywalker visited the planet, having been called there in a Force vision. Verla, believing she would be hunted down for being Force-sensitive, dropped the catch of fish to distract Skywalker, which also knocked down TRK-R.
Biography
- "You'll get this catch to market quickly this time, TRK-R? I can't eat another twenty percent loss in spoilage."
"How dare you?" - ―Verla and TRK-R
During the time of the Galactic Empire, TRK-R operated in a settlement on the ocean planet Serelia, transporting cargo. The hauler droid delivered fish caught by Serelia resident Verla from the dock to the settlement's market, and on one occasion took too long whilst delivering the catch, causing it to spoil.[1]
TRK-R is knocked down by the fish dropped by Verla.
In 3 ABY,[2] Verla brought a catch of fish to the dock for TRK-R to deliver. Verla chastised the droid for its previous lack of speed, and TRK-R objected to the complaint. Before TRK-R could take the delivery, the two were interrupted by the approach of hopeful Jedi Luke Skywalker, who was searching for Verla—secretly a Force-sensitive—after seeing her in a Force vision. Verla, afraid that Skywalker might be a Jedi hunter in pursuit of her, dropped the cargo of fish on top of Skywalker, knocking down TRK-R in the process. With Skywalker distracted, Verla fled, and Skywalker soon followed her.[1]
Characteristics
TRK-R and its landspeeder
TRK-R was a humanoid hauler droid with light gray plating and a singular blue sensor. TRK-R was offended by Verla's criticism of its delivery speed, claiming to be the best hauler droid in the settlement.[1]
Equipment
TRK-R possessed a one-seated landspeeder, which the droid used to deliver cargo.[1]
