Syni IV was a terrestrial astronomical object[2] in the Syni system of Wild Space[1] that was the location of an Imperial garrison during the reign of the Galactic Empire. At some point prior to his death[2] in 1 BBY,[3] Imperial General Sotorus Ramda crushed a local insurrection on Syni IV while commanding the garrison.[2]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, Syni IV was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[2] Syni IV originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in "Imperial Garrisons," an article written by Timothy S. O'Brien and published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 12 in February, 1997.[4]
