- "There will be sweetmallows at the reception after."
- ―Breha Organa, to Agira, disguised as Leia Organa
Sweetmallow was a type of confectionery created by the Aki-Aki, the native species of the planet Pasaana. The confections had various colors corresponding to their flavor, ranging from yellow for sweet and purple for spicy and sour. Sweetmallows could be eaten from skewers, which were sold at the Festival of the Ancestors by food vendors, including Tanruka Namhi.[1]
When Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan was too young to attend her parents' formal functions little sweetmallow cakes used to be sent to her room in appeasement.[3]
