Sunrise peacocks were a type of peacock. While in the San Tekka manor on the planet Coruscant[1] in 228 BBY,[2] the physicist Xylan Graf wore a long salmon-colored jacket featuring a scalloped style. Upon seeing him approach, Jedi Master Avar Kriss mentally reflected that his ensemble had enough ruffles for a dozen sunrise peacock fans.[1]

Sunrise peacocks were mentioned in the 2024 novel Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[3]
