Special-forces branch

The Imperial Navy special-forces branch was active during the Imperial Era. Following the Battle of Yavin and the destruction of the DS-1 Death Star Mobile Battle Station, Imperial Security Bureau Admiral Garrick Versio created Inferno Squad, which operated subordinate to the navy's special-forces branch,^[1] as well as the general Imperial Special Forces branch^[3] and the Imperial Security Bureau.^[4]
