The Southern Underground was a region of the Coruscant Underworld located in the southern pole of Coruscant. A 102-story-high palace owned by Black Sun leader Prince Xizor was located in the region. It was in close proximity to the vast Hasamadhi Warehouse District.[1]

The Southern Underground was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the fifty-third issue of the Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine,[1] published on January 6, 2016.[2]
