Songbirds were a type of bird.[1] Around 228 BBY,[2] as a drift of Jedi Vectors flew through the sky above the Jedi Temple on[1] the Core Worlds[3] planet Coruscant, they swooped and dived like a flock of songbirds chiming through the air.[1]
Behind the scenes
Songbirds were mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the 2025 novel The High Republic: Trials of the Jedi, written by Charles Soule as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[1] Phase III.[4]
