Sokor was a volatile red giant star at the heart of the Socorro system. It was theorized that, when the star blossomed into the red giant phase, it destroyed three inner planets to create the Thrugii Asteroid Belt; this same upheaval was believed to have knocked Neftali into its irregular orbit.
Behind the scenes
Sokor first appeared in "Out of the Cradle," a story featured in the second issue of Star Wars Adventure Journal, a roleplaying magazine that was published by West End Games in May of 1994.[1] It was given the name "Sokor" in Wretched Hives of Scum & Villainy.[2]
