A Force-sensitive Jedi of the Jedi Order was the Jedi Master of eventual Jedi Master Silandra Sho during the High Republic Era. He owned a plasma shield that he received from his Master after passing his Jedi Trials. He later passed the shield down to Sho on the day she completed her own trials.[1] Around 379 BBY,[2] after Sho's Padawan, Rooper Nitani, passed her Jedi Trials, Sho gave Nitani the shield and mentioned her Master while explaining the tradition of passing down the shield.[1]

Silandra Sho's Jedi Master was mentioned in the short story "Shield of the Jedi," written by George Mann and published in the 2023 young-adult anthology The High Republic: Tales of Light and Life as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project.[1]
