The Shuldene system[3] was located in the Yarith sector, a part of the Greater Javin area of the Outer Rim Territories and the Western Reaches. It was situated in grid square J-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] The Cerean Reach[2] hyperspace route connected the Shuldene system to the Lutrillia[4] and Lorta systems,[5] while another route linked it to the Mijos system.[4]

Behind the scenes

The Shuldene system was introduced in the current Star Wars canon via a mention in the eighteenth issue of the De Agostini magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon,[4] which was published around May 6, 2015.[6] It was then identified by name in "Star Systems of the Galaxy," an appendix published with the Star Wars Galaxy Map on StarWars.com[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[7] The Shuldene system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2004 Wizards of the Coast article "Galactic Gazetteer: Hoth and the Greater Javin," a Star Wars Roleplaying Game supplement published on Wizards.com.[8]
