The Shadda Nebula was situated in the Toblain sector[3] of the Outer Rim Territories[1] and the Trailing Sectors[2] as part of grid square O-18 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] It was formed out of[4] the Shadda system[5]—the site of the planet Shadda-Bi-Boran, the sun of which was dying[6] by 39 BBY.[7]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, the Shadda Nebula was first mentioned in a map of the galaxy included in the 2025 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, New Edition[1] which was authored by Jason Fry[8] and designed by Christopher Ibbitt.[9] The nebula was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Fry.[10]
