Selvernis was a planet where Jedi Master Avar Kriss personally engaged the sentient carnivorous plants known as the Drengir during the Drengir crisis.[2]

Selvernis appeared on a map in the 2024 novel The High Republic: Temptation of the Force, written by Tessa Gratton and published as part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[2] Phase III.[4]
