"Scary Starship" is a non-canon animated LEGO short that aired online on September 15, 2021 as part of the LEGO STAR WARS: Celebrate the Season webseries.
Official description
It's a decorating contest for Boba Fett's starship as Boba and the Mandalorian keep trying to one up each other with wild and creepy designs. However, an unexpected winner emerges to put both Boba & the Mandalorian to shame with their design. Watch the video to find out who wins the competition, if you dare![1]
Plot summary
Boba Fett, Din Djarin and Fennec Shand approach the Slave I. With Halloween approaching, they have hung several bat-shaped decorations on the hull of the ship. Djarin activates his jetpack and paints the Slave I. Fett laughs at Djarin's handiwork.
In response, Fett wraps a tarpaulin around the Slave I and flies the ship to simulate a ghost. Everyone laughs, but the tarpaulin catches fire during the takeoff. After exiting the cockpit, Fett hurls several pumpkins into the air. Djarin fires holes through them, creating improvised eyes and mouths. Djarin also lights them up. Fett laughs, and the competition continues.
Djarin wraps a large toilet roll across the ship, making the Slave I resemble a mummy. However, Fett unravels the roll, causing Djarin to hit his head on the canopy. Fett decorates the Slave I with artificial spider webs, trapping Djarin. Djarin frees himself with his flamethrower. While the two Mandalorians are distracted with the competition, Shand flies away with the ship.
Later, Fett and Djarin console themselves by roasting marshmallows over fire. Shand returns with several stormtrooper helmets, which she has fastened to the ship's hull and exhaust. Fett and Djarin are spooked by the stormtrooper helmets on the exhaust vents.
