A spear was a shaft with a blade placed on the top, a melee weapon typically used by primitive species like the Aeosians,[2] Talz,[3] Poletecs,[4] and Ewoks.[5]

The Elite Praetorian Guard of the First Order wielded advanced spear-like weapons like the electro-bisento and vibro-voulges.[6] Captain Phasma also wielded a baton that resembled a spear when unfurled.[7]
