The Sarrassia system was a star system in the Grumani sector of the Outer Rim Territories.[2] It contained the Aniras belt, which was one of the sources of[3] Sarrassian iron.[5]
Behind the scenes
Sarrassia as a location, was introduced by the Star Wars Legends novel, Knight Errant, which also established that Sarrassian iron could be found there.[6]

(backup link) (screenshot) Jason Fry, co-author of The Essential Atlas and a number of maps in the current Star Wars canon (see a list here), stated his intention to create homeworlds for numerous species based on context implied from their names. Given this principle, this article makes a similar basic assumption for Sarrassian iron in relation to Sarrassia.
