Sarq 22 was an astronomical object[2] located in the Sarq system within the Mid Rim Territories. It was situated in grid square I-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.[1]
The astronomical object was the homeworld of the human female Karé Kun,[2] who was considered a "victory kid," having been conceived in response to the death of Galactic Emperor[3] Sheev Palpatine during the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY.[4] By 31 ABY,[5] Kun had become a pilot in the New Republic.[3] After Kun joined[2] the military group[4] known as the Resistance alongside her wingmate Poe Dameron[2] that year,[5] a mention of her homeworld was included in her squadron profile. At some point after the Battle of Starkiller Base[2] in 34 ABY,[4] the profile of Kun mentioning Sarq 22 was included by Dameron in a flight log he compiled for Major Taslin Brance.[2]
