The Rycep asteroid belt was an asteroid field[5] in the Rycep system in the Jjannex sector of the Outer Rim Territories,[1] situated along the Lipsec Run.[4] It was located just one hyperspace jump away from the Anoat system. During his efforts to capture the Trandoshan outlaw Doshanalawook, known as "Chainbreaker," the bounty hunter Bossk'wassak'Cradossk traced Chainbreaker to the Rycep belt, where a dungeon ship of Wookiee prisoners was scheduled to pass by. One of the belt's asteroids bore the designation Asteroid X342 and was used by Bossk to park his starship, the Hound's Tooth.[5]
