Rusty, later known as Darth Hammerhead, was a male Ithorian who served the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Rusty was present for the Rescue of Han Solo, where he saved Lando Calrissian from falling into the Great Pit of Carkoon.^[1]

After a nerf herder Sig Greebling discovered The Cornerstone of the Galaxy, Rusty's story was rewritten to become a Sith Lord known as Darth Hammerhead, led by Darth Devastator.

Behind the scenes

Rusty was created for the Star Wars Legends continuity as the character Noga-ta in Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds.^[2] He was given the nickname "Rusty" in "Escape from the Jedi Temple," an episode of LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles which is non-canon within the Legends continuity. He was portrayed by Eric Bauza^[3], who would reprise his role in "Gambit on Geonosis," an episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales.
