The ruling nests governed the Harch species on Secundus Ando in the Lambda sector. During the time of the Galactic Republic, the ruling nests sided with the Spiverelda, the tyrannical government of the Lambda sector, against the Andoan Free Colonies during the Andoan Wars. When the Republic intervened and supported the Andoan Free Colonies, Spiverelda and the ruling nests were not spared. As a result, when the Clone Wars erupted between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Harch species sided with the Confederacy.[1]

The ruling nests were mentioned in Collapse of the Republic, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2019.[1]
