- "Wookiees are particularly fond of mykal meat and consider the creatures to be a delicacy; it is said they often serve roasted mykal at their Life Day feasts."
- ―From the journal of Ardis San Tekka
Roasted mykal was a dish made by members of the Wookiee species using the meat of the mykal, an ingredient they considered a delicacy. Both mykals[1] and Wookiees were native to the planet[2] Kashyyyk. Wookiees served roasted mykals during their Life Day feasts. Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts Director of Creature Cartography Ardis San Tekka mentioned roasted mykal when writing about mykals in her journal[1] at some point after the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY.[3]
Behind the scenes
Roasted mykal was mentioned in the 2024 reference book Star Wars Bestiary, Vol. 1: Creatures of the Galaxy, which was written by S.T. Bende.[1]
