The Rigoron system was a star system positioned in grid square P-13 of the Standard Galactic Grid, in the Dimean sector, which was located in the Expansion Region[1] and area known as the Slice.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Rigoron system was mentioned in the current Star Wars canon via the appendix Star Systems of the Galaxy, published on the StarWars.com website[1] as part of Star Wars Galaxy Map[3] on June 24, 2025. Both works were authored by Jason Fry.[4] The system was originally introduced in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned as Rigor system in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," an article in the thirteenth issue of the Voyages SF magazine, published in 1990 for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games.[5] The name Rigoron system was later introduced in the StarWars.com Online Companion to the 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas.[6]
