Ridlay was a rocky planet[2] in the Ridlay system in the Lambda sector of the Mid Rim Territories[1] that was inhabited by a sentient species. It experienced a total eclipse every fifty years, which plunged the planet into darkness and also brought the arrival of beings that its inhabitants believed to be spirits. During the Clone Wars, one eclipse saw the beings attack the inhabitants, forcing them to retreat from their homes into hiding. Jedi General Mace Windu and Lightning Squadron were subsequently dispatched to Ridlay to investigate the total lack of communications on the planet.[2]
