Reeksa was a species of carnivorous plant that grew on[1] the Outer Rim[2] world of Iego.[1] The plant survived in low-light conditions at the bottom of canyons by capturing live prey and digesting them.[2] It possessed sharpened spikes for teeth and deadly thorns along the edge of its stalks. The reeksa displayed animal-like predatory aggression in its attempts to feed, and was capable of creating utterances akin to those of a snake.[1] Reeksa root was an essential ingredient in the cure for the fatal Blue Shadow Virus.[2]
