Redfish were a type of fish. Their red-colored roe was used as an ingredient in Smoked Redfish Littletubes, a dish that was edible to humans and served in the Sublight Lounge on board the MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser Halcyon[1] in 34 ABY.[2] The meat of the fish was served aboard the Halcyon in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room in the dish Nori-crusted Redfish.[3]
Behind the scenes
Redfish eggs appeared as part of a fish available at the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel in Walt Disney World Resort, Florida,[1] which opened to the public on March 1, 2022.[4] Within Star Wars, the term was first used in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they were mentioned in HoloNet News Vol. 531 #52,[5] an April 18, 2002[6] issue written by Pablo Hidalgo and Paul Ens[7] that was published on the HoloNet News website.[5]
