The Ravager's Rift was a region of space[3] within the Western Reaches portion[2] of the Mid Rim Territories. It was situated in the Iska sector at the coordinates J-17 on the Standard Galactic Grid.[1] In 5 ABY,[4] as six fleets from the New Republic's military were deployed along the Corellian Trade Spine[3] hyperspace route[5] under Admiral Gial Ackbar in preparation to be rapidly relocated to the Western Reaches, Admiral Ho'ror'te began a mission to gather unaligned allies deep into the Ravager's Rift to reinforce Ackbar's fleets. Both admirals reported their efforts during a meeting between the members of the New Republic High Command.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Ravager's Rift was first mentioned in the 2021 novel Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, the final installment of the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy which was written by Alexander Freed.[3]

- ↑ The events of Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel begin after the Cerberon system campaign, and the novel also features the Battle of Jakku at the end of its three main sections. Since Star Wars: Timelines dates both of those conflicts to 5 ABY, the main events of Victory's Price must therefore be set in that year. Furthermore, since the mention of the Ravager's Rift in Victory's Price occurs prior to the Battle of Jakku, it must also have taken place that year.
