Rajtiri was an arid planet[4] in the Rajtiri system in the Dona Laza sector of the Expansion Region.[1] It was safeguarded by thorny space-time anomalies, but still close enough to a couple of major hyperspace lanes that could permit effortless jumps to lightspeed. Some believed that Rajtiri had birthed and fostered more smugglers than anywhere else outside of Hutt Space—and as a result, the ancient city of Jibuto prospered.[4]
Rajtiri housed many characters as a result of the profitable smuggling operations, but was also home to indigenous families that had history that went back twenty generations. One of Rajtiri's notable cities, architectural Jibuto, was defined by stately spires, fancy parapets, towering domes, colossal pavilions, and elaborate mausoleums.[4]
