The Ragoon were a type of creature that preyed upon the malia.[1]

Behind the scenes

In the current Star Wars canon, the Ragoon were mentioned in The Odyssey of Star Wars: An Epic Poem, a 2021 adaptation of the original trilogy by Jack Mitchell.[1] The species originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where they first appeared unnamed in Jude Watson's 2001 young readers novel Jedi Apprentice: The Ties That Bind.[2] They were then first identified in Watson's 2002 young readers novel Jedi Quest: The Trail of the Jedi.[3]
