Qatameric incense was a type of incense that the Lorrdian Toshdor Ni burned within a staff-mounted censer while on a pilgrimage to Jedha City on the holy moon Jedha shortly before[1] the city was destroyed by the Death Star superweapon in 1 BBY.[2] Ni dispensed the incense in order to cover his species' natural odor, with its smoke permeating the heavy fabrics that he wore.[1]
Behind the scenes
Qatameric incense was first mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Rogue One: The Ultimate Visual Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Qatamer was a city on the Lorrdian homeworld Lorrd.[3]
