- "Anyone tell you about the mogu around the swamp?"
"There's a mogu there?"
"Yup, and this one's a whopper. It can snap your arms off like puerco sticks."
"We'll see."
"Well, if you're crazy enough to try your best bet is to avoid its mud throws."
"Good tip." - ―Mosey Cimmaron and Cal Kestis
Puerco sticks were a type of stick.[1]
In 9 BBY,[2] the hunter Mosey Cimmaron warned the human Jedi Knight Cal Kestis that the mogu known as the Mire Terror would be able to snap his arms off like they were puerco sticks when telling him about the creature.[1]
Behind the scenes
In the current Star Wars canon, puerco sticks were mentioned in an optional conversation in the 2023 Respawn Entertainment video game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, puerco was mentioned in the Star Wars: X-Wing Rogue Squadron comic-book series' second issue, which was written by Michael A. Stackpole and Mike Baron[3] and published on August 8, 1995.[4] Out-of-universe, puerco is the Spanish word for pig.[5]
