The Mire Terror was a large mogu that survived being submerged in the Viscid Bog on the planet Koboh. Emerging covered in a morass that made it hardier, the creature killed many of the world's prospectors. After the hunter Mosey Cimmaron told him of the creature in 9 BBY,^[2] the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis found and slew the creature.

Biography

The Mire Terror was a large, pungent mogu.

The Mire Terror was a mogu that dwelt in the Viscid Bog on the planet Koboh. Originally a normal mogu, it at one point became submerged beneath the surface of the swamp, something few creatures survived. The Mire Terror however, emerged as something worse, having been made hardier by the morass that still clung to its body after the incident. The mogu would go on to kill many of the prospectors that sought priorite on Koboh.^[1]

In 9 BBY,^[2] the hunter Mosey Cimmaron informed the Jedi Knight Cal Kestis about the beast's location, advising him to avoid any mud the mogu threw if he did fight it. Kestis later encountered the Mire Terror in the bog, where it was lounging on an island that also contained another mogu and a container holding a stim cannister. The Jedi then slew both mogu and claimed the canister before reporting back to Cimmaron, who correctly guessed that the creature had smelt terrible.^[1]

The Mire Terror was large for a mogu and was capable of snapping off a human's arms like puerco sticks according to Cimmaron. It was pungent and had brown fur, black eyes, and gray skin.^[1]

Behind the scenes

The Mire Terror appeared as an optional legendary boss in the 2023 Respawn Entertainment video game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The creature's death is required for the trophy or achievement "I'm a Living Legend" and so this article assumes it was defeated.^[1]
