A pucksy was a type of animal that loved to dig and was capable of purring. The species could be found on the Outer Rim planet Tenoo. When the Poobian Jedi Initiate Nubs, along with Twi'lek Tenoo residents Locc and Jor, became trapped in a cave after a Tenoo tree fell across its mouth, the burrowing behaviors of a pucksy inspired Jedi Initiate Lys Solay to use Raxlo's harvester to drill under the impenetrable tree to save them.[1]
Behind the scenes
A pucksy first appeared in "The Helpful Harvester," the second part of the fourteenth episode of the second season of Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures animated series[1] released on March 19, 2025.[2]
The creature is visually and behaviorally identical to the Guaqa, a creature featured in "The Pit," a non-canon short film part of the second volume of the Star Wars: Visions series[3] released on May 4, 2023.[4]
