The Poison Moon was one of the notable bodies within the Hoth asteroid belt, an Outer Rim Territories asteroid field that overlapped the boundaries of the Anoat sector's Hoth and Anoat systems.[3]
Behind the scenes
The Poison Moon was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in issue 39 of Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon,[3] which was released around September 30, 2015.[4] The Poison Moon originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it appeared in "Poison Moon," a comic book series written by Michael Carriglitto and illustrated by Adrian Sibar. The series appeared in issues 44–47 of the Dark Horse Extra, a series of monthly four-page comic anthologies. Issues 44–47 were published from February to May 2002.[5]
