Piroket was a world[2] located in the Piroket system in the Arkanis sector of the Outer Rim Territories, situated in grid square R-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid[1] near the desert planet Tatooine,[2] which was located in the Tatoo system of the Outer Rim Territories' Arkanis sector.[3] Some of the residents and transients of Mos Eisley spaceport on Tatooine had travelled to the desert world from Piroket.[2]

Behind the scenes

In the new Star Wars canon, Piroket was mentioned in the 2016 reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations.[2] The world originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it was first mentioned in "Droid Trouble," a short story written by Chuck Sperati and published in Star Wars Adventure Journal 3 in August 1994.[4]
